The Skating Studio is committed to protecting your personal information. When you register on our website for skating lessons, we collect personal details to enhance your experience. The information you provide may be used for the following purposes:

• To register skaters as members of The Skating Studio.

• To send email updates. The email address you provide may be used to share information, respond to inquiries, or address any requests or questions you may have.

Your personal information will be securely stored from the date of registration until August 31 of the relevant season’s year end. We take reasonable measures to safeguard your data.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with external parties. By using our website, you agree to the terms outlined in this privacy policy.

Photo Release Policy

By completing the online registration process, skaters aged 18 or older, or their parents/guardians, grant The Skating Studio permission to use the skater’s image, likeness, and verbal or written statements in photographs, videos, or other media. These materials may be used for promoting skating programs or securing financial support for The Skating Studio.

Payment, Pro-rate, and Refund Policy

Payment
All fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. A $25.00 service fee will be applied to NSF cheques, unauthorized credit card payments, or declined credit card installments.

Outstanding balances must be cleared before skating privileges are reinstated. Payment receipts are sent via email at the time of payment. Fees and credits cannot be transferred between skaters.

All fees are listed and processed in Canadian Dollars. We accept Visa and MasterCard for payments.

Prorating for Late Entry
Late entry prorating is only available starting the third week of the session.

Refund Policy
Refunds are not provided, except for medical reasons, which are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Skating Director and must include a doctor’s note.

Administrative fees are non-refundable and non-prorated. Approved refunds will be issued as credits and are non-transferable.

Refunds or credits will not be issued for ice cancellations due to arena closures, mechanical issues, or unforeseen circumstances. Missed classes or sessions cannot be made up on alternate days or sessions without payment.

Session Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel sessions with low enrollment. If this occurs, registrants may choose an alternative comparable session or receive a full refund.
