About The Owner

I'm thrilled to welcome you to The Skating Studio, where passion meets precision! As the owner and National Level Certified Coach, I'm Valerie, and I'm dedicated to making skating accessible to everyone. With over 40 years of coaching experience and 13 years as a skating director, I've had the privilege of working with skaters of all levels, from Junior Competitive to Gold level achievements in Free Skate, Dance, and Artistic.

My approach to coaching emphasizes creativity, social connections, and strong skating skills, all taught in a fun and relaxed environment. I've also had the joy of teaching hockey players and working with special needs students, which has enriched my understanding of each skater's unique needs.

At The Skating Studio, we're more than just a skating school – we're a community that shares a love for the sport. I'm excited to share future opportunities, including camps and more, where you can come together with fellow skaters and make unforgettable memories. Let's skate, shine, and inspire together!
